♢ Healthy DIY Plant based Oat Milk ♢ With the same amount of time making your way into the grocery store and getting a packet of oat milk, why not make better use of that time and make your own? D-I-Y and you’ll be in for a treat! I know how hard it is to find a good oat milk to enjoy. It was either too watered down, too sweet, etc.

I went through a phase of buying every single brand of organic natural oat milk at the supermarket till the list pretty much diminished ; striking off brand after brand, to my great displeasure – I couldn’t find something I could have and savour without having to mix it into coffees.
So hey, here’s my version of oat milk with hints of sweet honey and caramel like dates, water to oat ratio was kept at 2:1 cups so that it maintains a creamy consistency. I hope that if you’re looking for a great non overtly watered down plant based alternative, this recipe will come in handy for you! Try it out and let me know what you think, it takes less than 20 mins! Keeps well in the fridge for 3 – 5 days, mix well before serving.
☞ P.S after all the oat milk has been sieved out, don’t ditch the leftover oat sediments, dry them out and toast them into flakes, mix them into cookie recipes or like me – turn it into a pampering face mask for your selfcare weekend!
